'Moon' is the new single from multinational indie-pop band Thieves Like Us. Taking their name from the New Order song of the same title, Thieves Like Us are experts at combining squelching eighties synth sounds with undeniably catchy vocals and dreamy guitars. The chorus line "But if you should cry, I would tear down the moon" speaks to a sense of unconditional love and protection of the ones you love; whilst the video, edited together by the band from cult-movies, provides both nostalgia and a strong message against the mistreatment of women. - HM
